Remove Any Remaining Wax - Use gentle heat (like a warm cloth or hairdryer on low) to loosen residual wax. Scoop out the wax with a wooden or silicone tool - never metal tools that can scratch ceramic.

Clean the Pot - Wash the interior with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly - residual wax or oils can affect the new refill burn.

Inspect for Damage - Check the ceramic for cracks or chips. A damaged pot shouldn’t be reused as it may fail under heat.
